Sensible Days 2019 - Fulda, Germany

Busy working on the spreadsheet before sending it to Hawkz for tweeks, cosmetics and overall improvements.
Seeing as we re going to have 6 groups NO MATTER WHAT, I ve programmed 10 possible pots.
So 6 groups with 10 players max. The spreadsheet can be easily adapted for less than 10 in the groups.
It has an automatic fixture set, but if we prefer we can enter the fixture list per group which swos generates, just
before the tournaments get under way.
Got a random draw in, result entering, automatic league tables, automatic calculating qualifiers for Master, Super,
Repecharges, KOs all seem to work. Just need a cosmetic polish, and a KO tree.

Busy programming a page for automatic best attacker / best defender but I have some questions first.
- Can a Bacon/Onion/Cucumber/Sauerkraut etc etc qualifier win best attacker / best defender?
I m inclined to not allow these matches to count towards best defender / attacker.
Can these matches count? Or do only the matches these players played in the groups count?
Or must you finish in the top 4 of your group to be eligible for best defender / attacker?
- Is the best defender / attacker still the player with the best average?
Previous editions we ve always used the average = goals / matches played to determine the winners.

Yet again the question; does anything else need to be put in the spreadsheet?

I think we should stick with averages.
And every match should count for that, no matter if cucumber or master group.
Alcohol can be involved, that is part of it, and part of the humor.
As long as the rules are followed (eg: no own goals on purpose etc) everything is fine.

Do not hassle... just count all the matches which are also entered on website.

So, yes, EVERYONE can be best goal scorer or defender, no matter which route of the tournament he will take. Master or Sauerkraut... every match counts!
We ll stick with averages!

Had a phone conference with Micha yesterday.

We ve decided to NOT play an XBOX tournament for good reasons:
- Not sure about hardware
- Not sure about adapters
- Relax the schedule for everyone
- Too much hassle

Best goalscorers will be awarded with the CANON, as it is a German tradition in real football (Bundesliga)!

Fine with me, Playaveli and Micha.

It was almost too much in Almelo and even worse without adapters.
