Re: AMIGA or PC?

In fact I loved the 1.1 Version very much, cause we played in our city several tournaments with this version, and it was very fair, all goals were possible to score but also to defend. We never equalized the teams, cause it was possible to win with several teams if you were strong enough.

The difficulty in Amiga SWOS was the highest I think, so it was later the greatest deal to be strong in this version, but sometimes I thought there were not so much teams equal like in 1.1 (exception if you equalized them manually).

PC SWOS was easier but I think even this Version had a great advantage if you played Single Player. Cause it made so much fun when you made an incredible dribbling to stun 5 players and the goalkeeper in not even one half of a second, and afterwards it was like you felt the might of Luke Skywalker cause you just made it without thinking. No version is so fast like this one. (exeption the International PC Version which was getting faster if youre system was faster I believe)

The SWOS Amiga goalkeeper are very good than in Pc. For example:In PC version every diagonal shot is a goal. In Amiga NO!

But it is true that the Goalie comes off his line earlier and farer. Even out of the 6 yard box sometimes....! I think that is great!

i cant imagine i scored like.. running towards the goal (read: right post) in a straigt line a few inches away from the post. and about at height of the keeper-area shooting the ball a wit a left curve.. the keeper always dives to the right when i shoot like this..
and u havent got goals with the low passes that could easily shot-walked in..
quite strange is.. that when i played pc again i just gave all low passes like amiga cause i was to much used to it.. i had it for many matches and it just not go away... and once in a while the low pass became quite handy!.. but the ball drops mostly dead like a bird from the sky...

hmmmmmmmmmm the goalscoring might be better on pc i cant remember exactly how it was to score on pc ???.I think you shooted more and passed less in the penaltyaria.
