Hmm.. Tough one to answer.... :)

I hope you mean gameplay wise (so please dont say manager all of you ;)

I d have to say newest FIFA 09. Tried it out at a friends place. Completely diff. from SWOS, but perhaps the most realistic footy game there is on the market. There are so many amazing details in that game. Only thing is that I almost fall asleep playing it, but this probably because I compare it to much to SWOS. ;)

A few years ago i really liked PES, but it haven t evolved for 3-4 versions now which is really sad. In the old days, i use to play alot of International Superstar Soccer on my SNES (PES ealiest version). So i was a PES fan some time. That has ended... :(

J.League Winning Eleven 2008 Club Championships (which isn t quite PES, they JP and Euro versions have always been in fact two different takes on the same title and the latest releases diverged a lot gameplay-wise) for Playstation 2 NTSC-J. Much better than its PS3 counterpart (same producer, different development team) and such a great footie game overall.

I got FIFA 09 on PS3 as well but I dislike way too many aspects of its gameplay and uncannyvalleyc visuals to enjoy it.
