Configuring 2 joysticks for 2-player games

Hi.

I'm running SWOS 2020 but struggling to configure 2 USB Hyperkin Trooper 2 joysticks for 2-player games.

I can use 1 joystick fine for 1-player games against the computer but it doesn't seem to let me configure both joysticks for 2-player games. Both joysticks are listed under the Player 1 and Player 2 columns in the Controls menu but it's not very intuitive as to how you configure each of them for 2-player games.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there any special configuration hack you have to do to configure 2 joysticks, or should it just work?

Thanks,

Brian

Hi!

It is problematic if both controllers have the SAME NAME (same type). We are aware of this bug and will try to fix it.

For now, to work around, please use Joy2Key Software for player 2. Then choose KEYBOARD for player 2 in game. That will work for now.

Thank you so much - that worked!

Had to press the 'Ctrl' key on 'Play Match' for Player 2 (which I suppose makes sense as we've selected KEYBOARD for Player 2), but the second joystick then worked fine when the match started.

Time to get my mates round for a SWOS 2020 party and recreate the old days when we played the original Sensible Soccer on the Atari ST...

Cheers again.
