Don't buy! Just download zip from here and extract.
archive.org/download/msdos_Sensible_Worl...occer_96-97_1996.zip
Then during installation point to the extracted folder when asked for original version.

Excuse me for asking a stupid question but as I have a MAC should I buy the original game for MAC or for Windows? Because if I read this guide then I will have to download this file in .exe then Windows.

I installed everything according to the instructions on the first page. However, it seems that the Bottle runs better under Windows XP than under Windows 7. Is there a compelling reason to choose Windows 7? (Mac OS Sonoma 14.0, MacBook Pro M1)

No, if WinXp bottle runs fine, do that! Happy it works well.
