SWOS Vista Download

I have and still the same old problem.... the credits start to roll and just after the renegade logo appears and the music kicks in it crashes and throws me out of dosbox

Then I really don t know what might be the problem, like I told you, basically I only play the amiga version.

Any reccomendations on screen display settings, line mode and Amiga screen resolution to make it look as effective as possible. Aloso why is the Amiga version so much better than the Vista one?

As a footer to this the only concerns I have are that the sound is still very jerky during the game and that although I expand to full screen, the actual pitch is only really half of that?

About display settings just leave everything as default (line mode should be doubled), if you want to play in full-screen, simply check the full-screen checkbox then adjust the screen resolution on top from the dropdown list. 720x576, 32-bit works fine for me for full-screen, try it and if doesn t look good test with another resolution from the list.
Those sound issues are strange, is the gameplay fluid? Do you have 50FPS on the lower left corner of the window?

what did you do to help him get it working? mine still won t work, I installed it (not to the folder you said to avoid), and still the screen opens up but I get nothing.

I install Amiga SWOS v1.02 on my computer (VISTA OS, in C:\Amiga SWOS)
and copy kickstar 3.1 in folder Roms
I start SWOS,and chose career mode,push play amiga swos button,then OK,
I always get message that no kickstart ROM found with name ROMS/Kickstart 3.1 .......
with online game,same thing
???

any help?
