normally i am doing that as soon as i can .... and now i will remeber more

i really dont want to see it in other hands, because it will be made directly in the mysql database...
if you got this right ... you got all other ^^
for event ranking ... i can give rights to players to update event points ... but at the moment its not possible to edit only your events ... you can edit all at the moment ..
but ^^ this will change
Hey Hey Hey .... El Micha J !!!

There is no need for more Event ranking rights as long as someone is there who can insert SRN in the next 24 hours after tournament ends

And please bear in mind that active member doesn t have to mean active in the chat/actively playing SWOS online. I m always active for example

Nice to know the exact reason why, and fully understandable why only one person should be able to do that.
Concerning who can give SRN, that s a good reason why only a select few should be able to give SRN.
I d pick a few extra people (as I stated earlier), who must have proven they wouldn t misuse their new superpower

@ Pallister:
Sorry, but I don t agree with you in this case. If someone isn t an active player / often in the #sensible-channel,
how are they supposed to know you can give SRN? For example, I didn t know and I ve been here since June 2009.
I know there s a page with all current admins but I ve only ever found it via google search (and Wänä sent me the link).
I also believe it s good if an active player has this right. It feels stange sending the occasional pm to someone who s
never around to chat with etc..I ve played you twice I think, I ve seen a few of your posts here, and I believe I ve seen you
three or four times in the irc-channel. For as much as is possible online I know Schulle, Lobo, Playa and thus I d always send
a pm their way (even though, as you stated, it d probably have been quicker and maybe even better if I d have sent it to you...
....so start whipping our sorry SWOS-teams some more

done to keep this community alive), just trying to make my point clear.
As I said before, if someone s created the cup, ran the cup etc. why shouldn t he be allowed to make sure the final step is done?
I didn t know that no SRN had been given for the Euroleague s FA Cups. Not good in my opinion (I m not blaming anyone here,
real life often interferes with SWOS) and that s something I want to change. Giving a select few (divided between the nations)
some extra rights would help avoid non-entering etc., and strengthen the international component of the site.

To make it clearer: If I want to make the national cup and the league cup SRN-effective, than it is OK to set the Kind of event to Qualifying? And after I will have wrote to Pallister he will give the Bonus for the 1st to 4th player? Is it just a bonus or will have any negative SRN for the losers (it would be logical) or it is working like: The SRN will be calculated based on the results (like in an ooo-game) and after will be given a bonus for winning?

Best solution:
Make new event / league system fully automatic (with options to choose from).
Then this complete discussion is over and problems are solved!

Last night was our League Cup, after it I have pm-ed to Pallister. When I wake up we have gotten the SRNs. It is working well for me like this.
Thanks Pallister-bot.
You re welcome

As i said a few month ago to MIcha or Playa ( i diddn t know it know, i am old ;D )....it would be good if the whole admin structure has to clean up. There are so many players who are not active on the site and they have the rights to change tournaments or something like that.
I don t see any problem with that. Because...what do you fear if you say those members aren t active? No activity - no changes.
Again...don t playing online doesn t mean automatically not active. At least in my case...
Cheers
