SWOS 2020 - bug reports

When can we expect the squads to be updated for the 24/25 season? Can anyone provide a link to the latest lineup editor?

After a few years of not playing, I played a season of a career with the stronger goalkeeper AI on my slower laptop.

Then, I installed it on my faster desktop and played a few matches on the same career, installed a Windows and graphics card driver update, opened the game again, and the match played on slow motion, then I tried a friendly match and it was the same.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and it was the same.

I tried all of that both with the stronger goalkeeper AI and the original goalkeeper AI.

All of this happened with Intel CPUs and Nvidia graphics cards on Windows 10.

Can you help?

Have you tried going to advanced in launcher and swapping the option for Screen Enhancement, one option is CPU, the other is GPU.try switching that to see if it makes a difference. But it sounds like an FPS throttle, more than anything; from either your PC or monitor. Do you have any FPS caps on your PC, either in Nvidia options, display settings or via RivaTurnerSS? There isnt any other settings within swos that can affect the FPS , unless for example you are trying to play PC DOS 70 fps and your computer refresh rate is capped at 60hz , then you would see it in slow motion as it isnt reaching 70fps and stuck at 60fps because of the monitor output is set to 60hz
But with Amiga mode is it 50fps, so you wouldn't or shouldnt get those problems with Amiga gameplay
Also try asking in issue reports in the discord channel , most likely will get other responses there , i use Ryzen and windows Nvidia 3060ti and i dont get any issues except if playing PC and capping my PC refresh to 60 as explained above

Thanks, apparently it was the FPS cap I wanted to apply to some demanding games.

One more question, other than the FPS rates, how different are those game styles?

Amiga 50fps is original amiga mode
Amiga 60 fps is Amiga mode with slightly better fps and weaker keepers (from xbox version iirc)
XBLA 60 fps is the xbox version (but with our swos20 databases etc)

PC-DOs is 70 fps and the ball physics are slightly different to Amiga, game is a little more slower played to go through the pitch, and high balls loop differently to Amiga, keepers behave differently too and have a few diff ways to score that are not possible on Amiga and vice versa. Use the training mode in Practice and turn off CPU players and have a little play about

Which game style do online competitions use?
Is using your own custom tactic still restricted in online competitions?

ASL Rules say "Custom tactics: Home player right", is the PC Super league also like that?
