WC 2018 diy file + editing tips

No third place playoff. I wonder why in preset WC there s option for that, but DIY doesn t give that option

Good point. I have always missed a 3rd place match option in DIY, too!

I guess the effect is always the same, when you start the tournament, so after that I just made replay with different brackets. Third place playoff played later in DIY with keeping eye to the scorers (adding goals if necessary). The results show that some update to squads must be made, especially for Japan, Germany and Poland. If you restart, everything is the same, so after trying to simulate WC again, I got the same outcome.

Loaded data string is probably responsible for that, so I tried random (seeded) group draw each time with an additional diy cup for third places and results are slightly better, but Poland is still far too strong:
