Career mode: two quick questions

Hi there
I have a two quick questions regarding career mode of SWOS96/97:

1) Player stats: as long as a player of my team is green checked in the tactic menu, will he also increase his stats over time (run speed, shooting, tackling, etc.) or only his $ value?

2) There seem to be some positions (like the left/right midfield of preset 5-4-1) in which I can t get any players uncrossed . No matter who I put into these positions (M, A, LB/RB, LW/RW, D) they are all red-crossed. There some way to prevent this or am I just doing something wrong?

1. Only player value increase. The abbilities can only be changed by an editor.

2. You have to use an own custom tactic to get green ticks on every position!

Got two more questions (career mode once again):

1) some players exist twice in the swos database (as national and club player with different playerskills). Can I somehow buy a national player in the career mode? I only seem to be able to get my hands over clubplayers.

2) goalkeeper: who is the probably best career-mode goalkeeper? I can t make myself a picture at all since the stats are hidden Taffarel for 3mil (as clubplayer from Atletico Minero) was a fairly big disappointment so far, eventhough I read he s supposed to do better than Schmeichel etc...

1. You can only buy club-players.

2. In my eyes the goalkeeper isn´t that important. You only can look on the database to search for a proper keeper database.swos.info/
