Things like that will likely be in the forthcoming custom teams file, which will hopefully be in version 1.1 alongside the main database.
They would break career mode for some if included in the main game.

if you want a SWOS version that lets you switch between the latest 2010-11, the new Legends, and the original 96-97, then try this auto installer:

Fantastic work Synchronated.
It looks like a lot of time and effort went into creating this database.
I ve spent ages just looking at the different teams and players and hardly even had a chance to play the game yet!!
I can t wait to start a career and try to sign up some all time great players for my squad. Maradona Romario supporting Larsson in attack at Celtic!!!

Wow. It s hard to believe a club like Barcelona didn t have better players in the past then Puyol, Guardiola, etc? Not like they re not great or anything... it s just all those years, I would imagine some mind-blowing players existed ;D

They didn t have many players with better trophy records/international records/reputations.
Also some players may have briefly played for them but appear in this data at another club (obvious example - Hagi).
Puyol and Guardiola are machines, pretty much, to be fair!

obvious examples: Maradona (2 seasons), Ronaldo (1 season).
Puyol and Xavi are living legends of Barca (possibly one of them will be able to beat Migueli s league games record).
there were many great players in Barca (like Paulino Alcántara who scored 357 goals !!! altogether - but mostly in friendly games, as he started to play long before they established La Liga in Spain), but there were never a team like 2008/2009 (winning every single trophy there was to win).

BTW - playing the most popular version of SWOS (96/97) you could be linking Ronaldo with Barcelona - yet it was his only season there...

Ha. They are at Napoli and Real here though...
Paulino Alcantara is in the Barcelona B squad.
It s true that Puyol and Xavi are true legends and the recent team is among the very best

The Bayern Munich squad is well chosen. Great that you remembered Jorghino.
Just three things:
Oliver Kahn needs to be in there instead of Jean-Marie Pfaff. Definitely!
Klaus Augenthaler instead of Lucio. Definitely!
Mehmet Scholl instead of Michael Ballack. Definitely!
You cannot get it better than that, then.
