I d like to take Italian National team. I have experience in editing in SWOES for myself.
Hey michaels, thanks for the offer. Italy (leagues / national team) is already been taken care of. Maybe some other team?
Check assignment list! www.sensiblesoccer.de/forum/index.php?topic=26241.0
I would like to take Spanish national team. As my CV I attached screenshot of sensiblesoccer.de from 2004 with me on 20th place
Hey Salva. Great, thanks. Make sure to follow update rules, to calculate player value/skills

Great screenshot from 2004 Sega ranking... oh dear, 12 years ago!!
For a lot of teams on transfermarkt under PLAYER PERFORMANCE DATA there is a PLAYED POSITIONS section.
That way you might be able to see e.g. what player played LB the most even if no one is a natural LB.
In fact, that s how original SWOS worked too - players were assigned a position they played in their club, not their ideal/preffered position.
Correct!
Attached you find Japan and China, prepared for 16/17.
You see, real life 4-2-3-1 tactic has been transformed to 4-2-4 in SWOS. Works very well.
It s just an example for you all!

Because in croatian league everyone and their mother is playing 4231 and looking at the positions of players fielded, theirs are closer to 451.

About 4231 into 424 - is that team specific?

Well spotted. 4-5-1 is also a good alternative.
Question: What does the rating (the percentage you can see in Team Value in the SWOS Editor) do, and can you modify it?
100% would be super teams, with 100% skills set! It s just an indicator. Nothing to bother about.

You can t directly modify it. It shows team strength, probably in terms of % of maximum skills player have.
However it seems it doesn t take into account 15 = 7.
I ve no time to test it, but it s something alone those lines

So if I use Transfermarket I get strange formations like 6-4-0 and 5-5-0.
6-3-1 is also sometimes used.

I have some teams in the Faroes who play without attackers

What team, can you give an example?

For example Serbia.
I hope it will be SRB and also our original flag!

I have data on the Europa League / Champions League formations, but the domestic games are a bit harder.
My Faroese is getting better though
Concerning Serbia...I have one Serb in the Faroe Islands but I had to make him Yugoslavian in the Editor.

Guys, how will be the nationalities presented?
For example Serbia.
I hope it will be SRB and also our original flag!
Hmmm, I never saw a flag in SWOS!
But about changing YUG to SRB, that should be possible.
