Sensible Days 2023 - Rules Discussion

It looks like we are more than 36 players.
so it is better to have a first round of 6 groups with 6 to 7 players.

so we need the 2nd groupstage with master, super and 2nd chance groups.

But we have to hurry a bit. So we dont play diy leagues with a fixed game plan/schedule.
With beach close to location and nice chilling areas its a too high risk to wait for players in a diy league twice per match.

We will just play friendly style with live result entering. But we will setup a 2 player diy league with 2 matches.
So we can see home player and injuries and red cards will have at least a small effect to the same opponent.

so we are also more flexible when we have to wait accidently for some players, the next guys may play.

after 2 group stage rounds we play our rounds of last 16 KO

place 5 to 7 from first group stage will play for krautsalat cup. (maybe in small groups or/and direct KOs)


Timeplan:

10:30 group seedings:
11:00 getting game schedules printed out by system

First group stage should end at 15:00 (lunch break included)
Secound group stage should end at 18:30 (lunch break after)
Then KOs last 16 simultaniouslyy - quarters on main screen (played match by match)

23:00 End of tournament

Updated Rules and Structure

no fixed match schedules needed. also no league setup.

only teams and tactics needed fro group stages.

match schedule plan will be generated by website sytem. But its only a plan. Not really mandatory.
