Re: Please help me play SWOS on Vista

Hi,

I m a SWOS addict from the 90 s, who is desparately keen to play SWOS on a newish Vista Laptop.

I ve tried a couple of SWOS downloads, one failed with some full screen error in the CMD screen, and another one fails with cannot create registry keys, and no kickstart rom found. I m not great at this kind of stuff, any chance of a step by step guide? Many thanks

I just got it started

I installed a dosbox emulator. changed some settings, mounted my directory and voila it runs.

As I understand, this is not enough info.

But I know a spot where it s written down nicely:
Try this site and use the Windows XP version of How to Run SWOS.
