SWOS 96/97 DOS issues

I have been searching about and have come to no answers to my queries. I apoligise in advance if indeed i have missed them lol

I have a macbook and have been trying to run SWOS on DOSBOX but with no success. When i run the game everything is fine and then the screen goes black.

My questions are, i have downloaded DOS games that have been formatted to work on MAC as an application how is this done? and could it be applied to SWOS.

Second i understand i could install windows on my mac, but could i install DOS operating system? if so where can i get the operating system? if not what Windows operating system supports DOS?

Third could i install dos on a USB memory device and run the game through that?

Could SWOS be programmed to run off one .exe install of many files?

Is there any other way i could get the game up and running on a mac succesfully?

Thank You, i have tried Yoda Soccer, but i find the gameplay too slow, not as frantic as SWOS. Therefore making the endless hours of team editing unappealing.

I don t know if it will work on MacOS, but do you have tried the Total-Pack?

i tried running it through crossover games. But unfortunately everytime it opened it would crash and close

Thanks anyway though Wana, might have another try later on if i cant seem to resolve the problem.
