SWOS 96/97 - National team players better than club players?

Hello.

I m relatively new to Sensi and I have a question about the players skills.

I have noticed that some players (if not all) has better skills when playing for their national team than playing for a club team.

For example Georghe Hagi from Galatasaray:

Why is he so bad for Galatasaray and so good for Romania? It doesn t make any sense. Is there anyone who has an explanation?

There is a third Hagi in SWOS...

Just look into the World Cup teams or the World Cup file via any SWOS Editor. Those players have worse skills than in clubs or normal national teams.

It s too bad that there is a difference but then I ll manually change the skills with an editor...

The creator of the data did not refer to the club data at all when compiling national teams.

Thus there is no correlation at all between a player s club and national skills in the default data. Some are better at their club, some much better for their country.

This was immediately obvious with the first 94-95 version (Amokachi ).

Weaker leagues (and clubs) generally had no pricey players, even if they did have a few in reality, but, if a national team was strong, players had to be strong too, no matter what club they played in ;D
