PS4 controller

So, I ve started playing this again, because I can t move away from it

I have got my PS4 controller plugged in via USB and I m using that, I just want to know if anyone else has the same issue....

It passes fine, but when i seem to be in and around the area, where there are more players, it seems to take an age for me to shoot - Half of my goals have come from running past the goalie, when i was trying to shoot?

Is this due to the netbook i m using, which it all seems to run wonderfully on, or because of the controller?
