El Tanque 0 La Luz 4 (2-17 shots)
Bentos opened the score in the 2nd minute, grabbed his second from the penalty spot a few minutes later.
Then it was easier than easy, with the La Luz keeper only having 2 distance shots to catch (he didn t have to dive :)).
Lopez grabbed two more as La Luz eased home.

La Luz 3 Colon 1 (14-5 shots)
A first half Lopez hattrick sealed this one. The second half saw some rough Colon play as it seemed
La Luz spent more time on the ground than actually playing. A keeper error gave Colon a consolation goal,
and Bentos proved he had English blood by missing a late penalty :).
This game meant La Luz would finish the regular season in 1st place! Party time!

La Luz 1 SP Italiano 0 (6-4 shots)
A new trialist entered the La Luz gates and was promptly selected for the Italiano match.
Question is...why? :) He totally underperformed, as did the whole La Luz team.
A lot of pressure, but few shots and eventually they were glad Lopez scored the only goal of the match.
Garcia was sold to Miramar Mirones for 20000.

Huracan SF 1 La Luz 2 (5-11 shots)
A poor first half performance, and a keeper spill gave Huracan the lead.
The second was much better, not allowing a shot.
A flash of Lopez brilliance got the equalizer, and Silva grabbed his first to win the match.

La Luz 3 Central Esp 0 (13-4 shots)
Lopez hat-trick....nuff said :).

No job offers at the end of the season.......

We ve now got 2.3 million in the bank.
First season finished, so someone can jump right in :).

La Luz 0 Central Espanol 1 (12-9 shots)
This was the (no way is the ball going in, except at your end)-match. We even missed a penalty. :(
And the La Luz-kickathon got underway as Leonardo Silva got a 1 match injury,
and a few players got complimentary bandages....

Liverpool 1 La Luz 4 (5-11 shots)
La Luz thrash the English giants! Uhhh...not exactly :).
Gotta love that South-American name-copying thing.
Fell one goal down, Bentos scored, and got injured the next minute :S.
Injury woes continued as we had 0 more attackers left on the bench, leaving us to play a midfielder (Arbizu) in the attack.
Luckily Lopez stepped up his game, grabbing two after the half.
Then Arbizu showed everyone he can score by scoring from just over the midway line.

With Bentos gone for four games, as well as an injury to Paez, and a badly bandaged Silva,
and we didn t have enough players for the next match :S.
Where are all the trialists????
I bought the cheapest attacker, with the best name in the Domestic Market..... Washington Rodriguez, for 120K (100K value).
I planned on keeping him on the bench, but I needed players!

La Luz 2 Rampla Juniors 1 (7-9 shots)
A terrible start with Rampla rampant (I played crap :)).
A lot of Rampla rampaging resulted in a few bandages.
One tackle (wasn t all that bad to be honest, just mistimed) in midfield and Soler got a straight red card! The ref was blind!
The 0-1 followed a few seconds later and we hadn t even managed a shot on goal....
Up stepped our new signing..two goals within 2 minutes and we controlled the game from then on in.

Soler s red card meant we finally got a new triallist, Adrian Fortes (Midfield).

Nacional 2 La Luz 0 (12-5 shots)
I sucked, the team sucked.
The injuries (bandages) took their toll against the league leaders.
Their speedy midfield/attack kept winning the ball (though only 4 shots forced a reaction from our keeper).
Move on, nothing to see here...

La Luz 1 Penarol 4 (6-7 shots)
Ever had the idea your goalkeeper had been paid off?
I did in this match. 4 shots where he had to make a save, 4 shots from outside the box, 4 goals :S.
I didn t do much good either.....Form crisis.

We re in fourth, 8 points behind the leaders with a game in hand. Sorry guys.....
At least the next manager has an almost fully fit squad (only Bentos is missing), and a challenge :).

Next!

We re still fighting for the 1st place :) It will be tough, as it seems Nacional doesn t lose any points... still 5 points ahead. At least we ve secured 2nd place beating both direct rivals (Danubio was crushed - see attachment).

Have fun next - and get that Nacional!

YEEES, we ve done it!!! First championship won in Uruguay.
Decisive match was a slaughter-party vs. Rampla Juniors. Got 2 players sent off, and score sheet went crazy.
See yourself:

We ve got a job offer from Penarol. Next manager may decide if we change clubs.
So, next one pls!

hmm, Penarol is much more prominent club in Uruguay...:)

there is nothing more to win here in Uruguay, so we have to decide which option gives better chances that we get foreign job offer...
