Re: Amiga SWOS Graphics mod - preview

Hi all,

I ve been tweaking my graphics mod, and have made some new goal designs, influenced by some designs from Redhair, (thanks mrsensible for the pic you sent!)

Anyway, here are some previews for those interested, click on the thumbnails for a bigger pic:

I also made a coloured ball, but as mentioned in my last mod, there is an issue whereby the ball reverts to black and white at throw-ins etc, so I ll release the mod with the black and white design, but can release the coloured ball one too if requested:

I ll get round to compiling the mod soonish - will post when it s uploaded, (maybe a week or two?)

Do you have a permission to use those logos? ;D Its very very nice

wouldn t have been possible withour your original work of how to edit SWOS files!

As far as the advertising, yeah, I don t particularly want to give any free advertising to these companies, just seems most people like some realism in their games, much like real-names over spoofed ones etc.

Good point though - what does everyone think, should we have real ad-boards, or would you rather have some fun/made-up ones?

Yes, we can have a coloured ball, but there is an issue where during throw-ins and in a couple of goalie animations, the ball will change back to black and white. That s why in my last mod I changed the ball design, but left it black and white. I m going to have another play around and see if there s anything I can do, but that s how it stands at present...

I am for ad-boards with logos of companies like Commodore (or Atari ), Sensible Software or UEFA etc. Non-exsisting or non-commercial.

If you do real ones, then we should add some spirit to it.
For example adboards for Unicef or Amnesty International. Or something against racism.
I d really like that.

Nice idea Playa! Hmmm, I might do some work on that and see how I go. I already have the Kick racism out banner, so sure I can add some others with more spirit
