Save file missing

I play Amiga SWOS-Total Pack.

I had a career save. After system-restore(Windows XP), the file is now gone. I restored the system-restore and the file is still missing.

What shall I do to bring that file back?

And I want to add that in back-up folder, I find a file with an extension of .CAR

I think it s my save file but when I try to move/copy it into the save disk, SWOS pack gives an error and the game couln t be opened.

I need professional help, please tell me what to do
