Summary of XBLA in classic mode:
Menu layout / buttons = AMIGA
Menu music = AMIGA
Menu background = Blue PC DOS
Prematch fading screens = PC DOS
Pitch resolution = AMIGA
Pitch color mode / graphics = PC DOS /f (silver benches)
Ball physics = AMIGA
Framerate = DOS
Keeper behaviour = Mixed, but more DOS esq

XBLA is a straight forward common 640x480.
You can see exactly the same width as on PC DOS, but you can also see a part of the two players in the lower half, yet not fully though.

Like I always said: it s a very unfortunate marriage ... will never touch that again

If it is possible to change resolution and Hz for the remake, what is the plan then? To make all 3 versions available and add a launcher or is it to use amiga res and change to 60hz?
I mean everyone has their own opinion of the different versions of gameplay.
It will be impossible to make all three versions as you know them (not without source code). If anything, the DOS version will be 99.9% faithful.
BUT in theory:
Changing the resolution combined with different frame rates will not give us a straight Amiga SWOS, and not a straight XBLA SWOS... it will give us probably a unique new version of SWOS which hopefully has gameplay elements acceptable or rather enjoyable for everyone. No more version trolling ...
