Tournament Proposal - Nations Challenge

Hi all,

Trying to drum up a bit of SWOS interest here, and following on from Sociopatic s (and others ) clan idea.

How about a tournament in which nations compete against each other?
Create teams of three or four players with star/SRN-restrictions (for example 2 players with 4 to 5 stars, 1 player with 3 or 3 1/2 stars, and 1 players with less than 3 stars) to even the playing field.
Highest SRN play each other etc. creating three or four even matches. Matches could be two legs with extra time and penalties.
A win after 180 minutes = 3 points, a win after extra time / penalties = 2 points, a loss after extra time / penalties = 1 point.

Each nation plays each other once in the League stage. Best 2 or 4 move on to the knock-out stages.

Maybe start the competition midway through August, or in the beginning of September.

At the moment we have 6 nations...Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Turkey and the Euroleague.
Maybe some old-school nations could form a team (SCSL? UK?).

Anyone interested, suggestions etc. are more than welcome!
