Re: FEBRUARY Voting!

Hello and a warm welcome to February s competition.

Last months we all together 11 entries, if I recall it right, which is a fabulous record. It tells that the tutorial by Stromberg had quite some impact, even if it took some time.

It is foolproof, for even I can do this and Infiltrate finally got the twist as well.

But one thing is to be mentioned: This is probably the last competition in this set of rules. In the main gotm thread another mode was proposed and it might be a good way to handle this competition.
It would be collecting goals for a certain time the way it is done now, but opening the vote for just one week. The idea behind it is to give each goal equal chances, for if you have voted for one early in the month you might not check the other ones.
Actually, Infiltrate collecting 7 votes despite his late addition is rather making this model obsolete, for it proves that it might not be so important when a goal is submitted. Still I think this is something we should think - and more than that discuss about.
So please tell me what you think about it in the gotm thread, for I don t want to apply changes without really knowing whether you like the upcoming mode.

I had a request to straighten the talk . So here it is:

1. I want to collect all the goals for the month and open the vote for one week only.
2.. There is a new thread rules discussion (the sticky one) where I want you to tell me what you think about it.
3. The rule change will be applied from next month on, therefore this month works in the traditional way.

Second participant is Ottoman with this cool header:
Third one by GRZ. He seems to be an expert for high curved balls, which is one of the harder goals to do:
Fourth contestant is a very cool bend to the triangle by SPIR:
Fifth goal is by DaBomb a curved shot from the side of the box:
Sixth goal is DaBomb number 2. Same player different goal. This one is a very nice sweep from just outside the box into the triangle at the long post:
Goal number seven is headed in by Playaveli vs poor me straight from his keeper. Very cool!:
