Amiga 1200 problem with swos

Hi you guys, I really hope some of you can help me out on this one.

I have 2 x Amiga 1200, one working perfectly, runs every game, every disk.

But the other one appears only to run original games, so far i only managed to get Superfrog (original disk set) running. When i boot my 2 x disk version of SWOS 96-97 (un-original/cracked version) i only get to the grey loading screen, where it says cracked by.... :
It then often tells me that there is a disk block read error, and gives me a random number where the error is.

As you probably know from reading this, im no amiga expert, so i tried changing my floppy drive, it didn t work. Then i tried the floppy cable from the working amiga, and still no luck.

Is there really such a thing as copy protection from un-original games/software on a Amiga 1200 and if how do i fix this?

Are booth Amiga 1200 from Commodore or Amiga Technologies?

hmm.. the amiga is from commodore it seem, it even had a warrenty seal once.

Have you tried the cracked version only?
If I remember right I also sent you a normal copy of the original discs. Don t they work either?

Ah, no. These are original SWOS copies, from SWOS 1.0, not 96/97.

But one suggestion: Load SWOS 96/97 with disc1 from original disc. Once it s loaded, use disc 2 from the copied ones. As long as SWOS is running you should be fine.

ok.. then i don t have it. I only got the 2 disk (cracked version) of Swos 96-97 which you sent me. No original swos disks
