- pitches (over 150 pitches!!!)
- commentary (12 languages!!!)
- sound FX (fully customizable!!!)
- DIY & custom teams (EC & WC preset, 1962-2018)

This is again good stuff.

The modular way of the DLC concept looks like a good idea.

Btw, in what language are you coding this project?

I am currently also working on a game with sensible soccer sprites, but since i'm using gamemaker i doubt i could help you out with code or anything here:

If there actually is a chance gamemaker <-> whatever you are using might be convertible/compatible tell me here and i will figure out this newfangled "discord" thing. ;-P

For Sound FX, still missing is: to be able to choose the 'default SFX' to use as Custom SFX, e.g. using the FOURNIL.RAW of SWOS2020 version on the sample for Score 2-0 - TWONIL.* because it is less repetitive. I personally will just add them manually to one of the folders though, since I already got elaborate SFX sets for Liverpool (also thought the Virgil van Dijk chant I did sent to Starwindz would be in for Liverpool, since on a season in SWOS2020 I like that you start with players that were available at the start of that season, so he is still in then ;-) and simulate a season where he could get injured or not) and for playing with the international team from the Netherlands.

I do really like the Presets Pulldown menu, to have multiple Presets ;-) that suits my two SFX sets just fine ;-) .

Found a bug in the DLC for the Pitches, I tried downloading and using my 2020 - 19/20 - Yellow Kit Asst. Reft pitch, but it even after I double-clicked, downloaded it and selected it it just says " 2020 - 19/20 - Yellow Kit Asst. Reft pitch" not found. Please download it in the DLC Manager.

For the Pitches the New Retro HD pitch has changed, I always chose that one because of the static commercial boards, no movements. And now there is movement, how do I turn that off? Because when I look in the folder I can no longer just replace these files with there black versions to turn it off: ADBOARD1.BMP, ADBOARD2.BMP, ADBOARD3.BMP .

Replacing .bmp files does not affect revolving adboards. adboards revolving is the standard feature of swos. if you want to stop revolving adboards, customized specific sprites file is needed. if you really want to do it, i can provide the specific sprite file for you.

Thanks for the quick reply, I do understand that you want to make the came as true to the original as possible. And this is really my personal taste, so yes I really want to do that and turn off the animations and just have a static boards at the top of the screen. If I remember correctly the DLC New Retro HD pitch only the middle was animated and not the side ones.

Another question: will the pitch editor for SWOS2020 with the DLC become available to everyone? or is it already and have I just missed that announcement?

I tried it both in Widescreen and in Original Amiga screen for all of the Captaincofresi's pitches, all aren't working at all. The image scale was set to the default 1,0. Should I maybe change that to get it working? Or should other settings change? I tried it with both the launchers, the recently updated one with the DLC and fixed original amiga GKs, and the one I got from Starwindz where the Ludricous Difficult GKs are still in place. So any help on this part is most welcome.

If I would have a pitch editor, I would just edit and change the NEW Retro HD pitch to my liking with the assistant refs and a bit of broken grass around the most used parts of the pitch. And then see how I could use that one within the DLC folder structure.

=> pitch editor (aka SWOS Graphics Composer) is currently being developed. not released yet. it would be released in this year

=> this is a known bug about running some DLC containg "/" character such as "95/97". it will be fixed within this week

=> after SWOS Graphics Composer is released, you can create any custom pitches. when the result sent to me, it would be uploaded as official DLC after checking by memebers of developers
