Hi Sirs,

I saw your website and want to play SWOS again as when I was 13/14. Which joystick do you recommend? I want to buy and then I think I just have to download the game, right?

Thanks for your excellent work!

Hi mate!

The best advice I can give you is to buy the same joystick or joypad you have used in the 90ies... go to ebay.com and find it! Then use an USB adapter to plug it in your computer.

Thanks! Basically I need to find an adapter to the Joystick number of pins right? I took a look at ebay and others. Didn´t find my old joystick...was grey one...If I opt to buy a current modern Joystick - would it be problematic? Why? I want to play SWOS 2020, isn´t the game adapted to new joysticks? Sorry for the questions but I am excited to play again...Thanks!

Am using speed link pro 25th anniversary, not the same comfort as my old quick shot but seems sturdy and nice and clicky...

For connecting old Joysticks with 9-Pin connector to modern systems, again I highly recommend this adapter:

www.raphnet-tech.com/products/db9joy_usb_v2/index.php

Sure it's not cheap but you will be able to connect every old 9 Pin Controller (even custom build keypads with 9 pin connector) to your actual OS like Windows 10 or Ubuntu.
