I ve noticed that some teams in El Salvador have almost exclusively players with single surname, while some have almost exclusively players with two surnames. Is that a coincidence or maybe they all have two surnames but just use one most of the time?

This is strange, I did the Premier league editing and certainly didnt make Mata A, Ozil A, Hazard A, Pedro A. Found a lot of changes to my editing, I understand wanting to match current playing formations, but giving players incorrect positions takes away the realism for me. I also ran through multiple season simulations and all seemed very balanced for how teams would preform in real life, not like you describe. I even went as far as checking FIFA stats for each player I didnt know attributes for (not just randomizing using the editor) and matched them to their SWOS value. A lot of players play in multiple positions, swap wings etc, so a lot of the time positions could be just a matter of opinion, but I always tried to use what they were playing based on the transfermarket website.

I understand you I found an error too much you used in Sunderland the attribute 8-15 then Sunderland had 49% and City had 50% and I gave attributes 0-7 then Sunderland had 25% and City 34%
