For a lot of teams on transfermarkt under PLAYER PERFORMANCE DATA there is a PLAYED POSITIONS section.
That way you might be able to see e.g. what player played LB the most even if no one is a natural LB.

In fact, that s how original SWOS worked too - players were assigned a position they played in their club, not their ideal/preffered position.

You see, real life 4-2-3-1 tactic has been transformed to 4-2-4 in SWOS. Works very well.

About 4231 into 424 - is that team specific?
Because in croatian league everyone and their mother is playing 4231 and looking at the positions of players fielded, theirs are closer to 451.

100% would be super teams, with 100% skills set! It s just an indicator. Nothing to bother about.

I have some teams in the Faroes who play without attackers
So if I use Transfermarket I get strange formations like 6-4-0 and 5-5-0.
6-3-1 is also sometimes used.

I have data on the Europa League / Champions League formations, but the domestic games are a bit harder.
My Faroese is getting better though

Concerning Serbia...I have one Serb in the Faroe Islands but I had to make him Yugoslavian in the Editor.

Hmmm, I never saw a flag in SWOS!
But about changing YUG to SRB, that should be possible.
